New Technology Website – SuperTechCamp.com
I have had this blog for over a decade now starting way back in 2008. That seems like a long time ago; wait… that is a long time ago :-)! At that time, there were not nearly as many bloggers as there are now and most people who were blogging really enjoyed it. Nowadays, everyone and their mother has a blog, and it almost comes as a requirement for being in tech :-). Anyway, more on that later.
I will continue to update my personal blog here which is more focused on traditional development, virtualization, networking/cloud, IT, and business, but I have also started a completely new site that expands onto many other technologies. Make sure to check it out: SuperTechCamp.com
Optimize Cost Across Public and Private Clouds with Nutanix Beam
Nutanix Beam is a software as a service (SaaS) solution that provides cost spend visibility and optimization across multicloud environments and on-prem. Discussing with customers and playing around with Nutanix Beam for the past several weeks, I’ve been pretty impressed. I can see why many customers have standardized on Beam for their cost control strategy for both multicloud and hybrid cloud scenarios. In this post, I briefly give a quick intro to Nutanix Beam and some of the functionality. For additional info and a free trial, you can check out the Nutanix Beam product page here. VMworld 2019 Sessions – VMware Cloud on AWS Networking and Security
VMworld 2019 was my fifth year presenting at both the US and Europe VMworlds. Presenting at VMworld has always been something I look forward to every year, and this year was no exception.
Like usual, this year, my calendar for both US and Europe was packed with session presentations, round tables, customer meetings, and book signings. This year, along with presenting sessions and participating in round tables and customer meetings, I once again also had the privilege of participating in book signings. Over the last 4 1/2 years, I’ve been fortunate to write two VMware Press books and participate in corresponding free book hand outs and book signings at VMworld. See below for my recorded VMworld 2019 sessions on VMware Cloud on AWS Networking and Security and also links to download free book soft copies/eBooks! Continue reading
