One of the interesting areas I’ve been reading-up and working on past few months has been Web3. Web3 can be viewed as a new iteration of the Web incorporating technologies that exhibit characteristics of decentralization, trustlessness, immutability, inherent verification, while also providing transparency. Additionally, Web3 moves away from the aspect of a single entity controlling user data such as we’ve see in the current Web 2.0 model. Nutanix Clusters on AWS – Hibernate Hosts to Lower Cloud Spend
I’ve written a few prior posts on Nutanix Clusters on AWS: Nutanix Clusters on AWS – Hybrid Cloud and Multicloud Platform, Nutanix Clusters on AWS – Getting Started and on Nutanix Beam: Optimize Cost Across Public and Private Clouds with Nutanix Beam, Nutanix Beam – Chargeback and Tracking Spend Across Clouds. In this post, I marry the two and use Nutanix Beam to demonstrate how the Hibernate/Resume functionality in Nutanix Clusters can be used by customers to lower their cloud spend when using Nutanix Clusters in AWS. Nutanix Clusters on AWS is available globally across 20 geographic regions and 61 availability zones. See the Nutanix Clusters website for the most up-to-date information. In my prior post, I discussed the availability of Nutanix Clusters on AWS, use cases, and unique advantages. In this post, I walk through how you can easily get started deploying Nutanix Clusters in AWS and leverage for hybrid cloud and central management. New Technology Website – SuperTechCamp.com
I have had this blog for over a decade now starting way back in 2008. That seems like a long time ago; wait… that is a long time ago :-)! At that time, there were not nearly as many bloggers as there are now and most people who were blogging really enjoyed it. Nowadays, everyone and their mother has a blog, and it almost comes as a requirement for being in tech :-). Anyway, more on that later.

Optimize Cost Across Public and Private Clouds with Nutanix Beam
Nutanix Beam is a software as a service (SaaS) solution that provides cost spend visibility and optimization across multicloud environments and on-prem. Discussing with customers and playing around with Nutanix Beam for the past several weeks, I’ve been pretty impressed. I can see why many customers have standardized on Beam for their cost control strategy for both multicloud and hybrid cloud scenarios.
