I’ve been really digging into the Cloudflare Bot Management capabilities and applying it on several sites. Love what Cloudflare is doing here – moving the Internet away from captchas!
A true Bot Management solution is more than just captchas! Many bots used for malicious purposes are more sophisticated than the typical attacks folks usually mitigate via general WAF policies and methods such as rate limiting, black holing traffic, and blacklisting IPs.
Cloudflare can better detect and help mitigate malicious bots using heuristics, anomaly detection, behavioral analysis, machine learning, and finger printing against a massive global volume of data!
